This site provides an overview of the research in statistical learning, data science and biostatistics conducted by Korbinian Strimmer and associates at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Manchester.
Our research focus is the development of state-of the art statistical and machine learning methods and models as well as corresponding software to analyze large-scale complex-structured real world data problems. Biomedical applications of our methods include, e.g., biomarker discovery, clinical diagnostics and systems biology.
